This jacket is a fashion for a guy to wear a shirt with the West?

I'm an indie kid and have many vintage cowboy shirt (3 checked, 2 Black with Pink piping and embroidery). In summer, I wore them with skinny jeans and Converse. I need advice on what to wear with them now it is autumn. To be honest, I think the leather jacket that you wear with it perfect. This I would choose.
